Level 1

Our Survival English course is designed for Business Professionals to practice the four skills of speaking, listening, reading writing as well as to improve in the areas of vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar.

Sample Beginner Modules:

Introductions, Jobs, Family, Expressing Likes, Dislikes, Feelings, Ideas, talking about Food and Restaurants, Numbers and Money, Shopping and etc.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course the trainee will be able to deal with simple, straightforward information and begin to express yourself in familiar contexts. You can manage short social exchanges. You can usually understand enough to keep the conversation going.

By the end of this course the trainee will be able to speak about the present and have a basic vocabulary sufficient to discuss everyday topics such as family, free time activities countries and work. You also learn how to order food, tell the time, give and write telephone numbers, how to spell and write a simple letter.

By the end of this course the trainee will be able to speak about the present, past and future and your vocabulary includes being able to talk about the house, places, people and abilities. The trainee can also discuss holidays, ask for directions and make themself understood in airports.

By the end of this course the trainee will be able to speak about the present and past and your vocabulary includes being able to talk about the city and the countryside, dates, shops and clothes.

By the end of this course the trainee will learn how to make them self understood in hotels and write simple letters.

By the end of this course the trainee will have improved fluency and will be able to revise the grammar of how to ask questions, and the vocabulary of talking about experiences.

Level 2

Hifive

Students will be able to communicate in simple sentences on well known topics; understand and respond to other people’s questions; compare themselves to other people; talk about preferences, belongings, routines, appearances, future hopes and work. Students will be able to cope with real life situations at work, on the phone and by email. The course will help to develop understanding of present and past verb forms, adjectives, prepositions, nouns, functional language, pronunciation, and develop paragraph level writing ability.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course trainees can deal with most situations when working in an English speaking environment. The trainee can enter unprepared into conversations on familiar topics relevant to everyday work life.

By the end of this course the trainee will consolidate their grammatical base and their vocabulary will now includes numbers, prices, animals, items of clothing, cooking and jobs.

By the end of this course the trainee will further extend their grammar and talk about experiences and future plans, learn how to make comparisons and give advice.

By the end of this course the trainee will use conditionals and the passive voice. You also practice their vocabulary to tell the time and practice every day English.

By the end of this course the trainee will further practice conditionals to express possibility, learn how to report a conversation and practice the language used in making telephone calls.
